Replica Sharps 4-Barrel Derringer from Uberti.
These Derringers were originally made from about 1860 to 1872 in Philadelphia and this copy is in remarkable condition and ready to provide daily service. Chambered for the .22 short for which ammo is readily available. Serial no. 111705. With 2 1/2-inch blued 4 barrel cluster. It has a rotating firing pin which rotates to the next barrel each time the hammer is pulled. On the right side it is marked "A. Uberti & C. Gardone V.T Italy" in a circle around the hammer screw, just as it would be on the original. On the left there are no markings. This Authentic Reproduction was Made In Italy. Perfect working condition. See photos for cosmetic condition. Due to the 1968 Gun Control Act they ceased to be imported at this time and have since become as collectable as the original C.Sharps. Now the scarcity of these early second generation Derringers have created a demand for this niche collectable.
