Full custom Mauser in .280 Remington built on a Brno ZG-47 large ring double square bridge action which in my opinion is the finest commercial mauser action ever made. This piece features a 25" barrel with an island ramp front sight, barrel attached sling stud, and quarter rib with one standing and three folding leaves. Bore is excellent. The double square bridge action is topped with a Leupold M8 6X scope in Talley quick detach lever release rings. Other action features include a two position side swing safety, Jerome Glimm bolt handle with four checkered panels and a rosette engraved tip, custom serrated bolt release, custom bottom metal with straddle floorplate and trigger bow release, and a Blackburn trigger. Stocked in the English style in a very nice piece of Turkish Walnut with excellent color and contrast. Stock features include a pancake shadow line cheekpiece, steel pistol grip cap, 26 LPI point pattern checkering, and an ebony forend tip. LOP is 13 3/8" over a Decelerator pad. 8lb 14oz as scoped.
This is a beautiful piece in excellent condition with only the slightest of handling marks. It has it all! An outstanding action and caliber [my "go to"caliber for hunting in the U.S.], classic English styling, quarter rib, and meticulous inletting. Maker is unknown to me but undoubtedly a known professional.
