****SOLD PENDING PAYMENT***For sale are two consecutive numbered Colt 1851 Navy's. These are 2nd Generation "F" Series revolvers. The pistols are new in the box, with all paperwork and hang tag. The pistols are untouched from the day they left the factory. The silver on the backstrap is starting to tarnish so I gave them a light oiling and rub down.
It's hard to express how rare a consecutive set of pistols are. First, there were only 3,500 of these pistols ever made. If 5% of them were sold as consecutive, which they weren't or you would see more, that would only be 175 sets. Furthermore, these pistols are F series and should Letter with Colt Archives services. The letter could reveal a special order to a specific person of interest. Lastly, the possibilities with these pistols are endless for display. I have included one picture at the very end, of what the pistols could look like with a proper case and accessories. Add a letter to the case and accessories and you have an investment-grade asset that can not be depreciated. CASE AND ACCESSORIES ARE NOT INCLUDED. FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY.
