Description:
This is a first variation of the Colt Police Positive, built in 1924, and chambered in 38 Special. This particular revolver is marked C. P. D. on the heel, and was carried by a beat cop for the Chicago Police Department for years. It shows very little wear for a gun of nearly 100 years old. The grips are near mint, and the blue would rate 95+%, with a mint bore in the 4" barrel. The gun functions as it should, with tight lock up, and perfect cylinder timing. This unique piece was carried by officer Robert McGuire, and sold to me by the husband of Mr. McGuire's Aunt. $1150.00 Shipped and Insured to the lower 48 states by PMO, or other Certified funds.
