Description:
28 inch round barrel with a surprisingly bright shiny good bore chambered in 40-60 caliber with a full length magazine. Barrel and mag tube are a mix of gunmetal and plum/brown patina. There are traces of blue in the protected areas. Receiver is about the same color with a little blue around the side plates. An "1876" marked folding ladder rear sight and a blade front that looks like it was made from an old coin. Dust cover screw is a modern replacement. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some light marks and dings. Crescent style buttplate. Hammer and lever have a hint of case color with the balance a brown/gray. Action functions fine. A fine example of an 1876 Winchester that was made in 1883.
