Here is a neat and honest Remington No.2 Rolling Block chambered in .32 Rimfire. the No.2 Rolling Block was manufactured from 1873 to 1910 and it is estimated that only a few thousand were produced. The No. 2 is easily distinguished from other Rolling Block due to its distinctive curved configuration through the wrist. This particular No.2 is chambered in .32 Rimfire and features a 24" octagonal barrel, smooth walnut stock set, blued finish, fixed front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight, and crescent buttplate. The original blue finish across this rifle has morphed into a rather nice and weathered grey-brown patina. The factory original walnut stock set is in good overall condition for its age but does show various scattered signs of handling, light dings, and a handful of hairline cracks. The factory original crescent buttplate is in great overall condition and shows no signs of major damage, dents, or dings. The bore of the 24" octagonal barrel is frosted throughout with scattered signs of pitting but strong rifling. The action still functions flawlessly with the extractor and firing pin intact. The hammer still has an impressive amount of spring tension and the trigger breaks cleanly. This No.2 Rolling Block would make a neat addition to anyone's collection.
