Presented here is a handsome Lefever Nitro Hunter Special side-by-side shotgun chambered in .410. This fine side-by-side Lefever shotgun has been beautifully and professionally refinished and the chambers have been opened up to accept 3-inch .410 shells. The stock has not been shortened it has had a spacer and a new pad installed to increase the length of pull. The original butt plate is available and included with the gun. The beautiful case-hardened receiver has a goose in flight on each side. The 26-inch barrel has a bright bore and is choked fixed full and full. There are two minuscule cracks on the top and bottom of the tang, and a split at the toe that were repaired at the time of the restoration. This nimble little Lefever has a nice tight action and the top lever is well to the right of the center.
