The Savage Arms® AXIS II XP TrueTimber VSX Bolt-Action Rifle features a 16.13" heavy barrel with a 5/8-24 threaded muzzle designed for use with a suppressor. The AccuTrigger™ is adjustable and allows for a pull weight between 2.5 and 6 lbs. The Axis II XP comes with a factory-mounted, bore-sighted Bushnell® Banner 3-9x40mm scope. The synthetic stock is lightweight. A detachable box magazine design allows for faster reloads in the field. Two sling swivels come already equipped. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and features a Picatinny rail awaiting an optic.
