Description:
A set of 24 Vintage Marine Uniform Buttons. These buttons were made between 1893 to 1935 based on the back stamp.
Made by and stamped Horstmann Philadelphia, they are still on the original card with tissue paper.
The buttons feature an Eagle with wings spread holding an Anchor. There are 13 Stars above the Eagle. They measure 1/2 inch in diameter.
Shank buttons, perfect for pockets or cuffs
Horstmann Philadelphia was started by a German Immigrant named William Horstmann in 1815 making, and importing Fringe, laces, and Military Uniforms and furnishings.
