British Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 made by BSA m47c Shirley plant. This is an all matching, extremely nice example. There are no cracks, gouges, or missing parts. Wood and finish is exceptional for this age of rifle. Of course it does have a few handling marks, but Suncrolite finish is very thorough throughout the rifle. Rifle is showing a milled for Fazakerly rear site that has detent function working perfectly. All numbers found on this rifle are matching. Butt plate is of brass and the bore is like new. Original magazine is included in excellent condition with matching serial number. This rifle went through the FTR program in 1948 and does not appear that it seemed much if any use since.
