****SOLD, SHIPPED**** One of the most difficult of all of the 375 H&H configurations to find, and in fantastic condition to boot! This early post war rifle has several contributing features to its exceedingly scarce configuration including the low comb stock, 6W two leaf rear sight, and most notably, the smooth topped and undrilled rear receiver bridge. This only occured on a relatively few rifles for about 2 years (1949 and 1950). Of those, most that I have encountered have been subsequently drilled for conventional scope mounts, making this rifle quite an unusual find. S/N 140*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1950. 99% Blue, 98% Varnish. 25" barrel with an excellent bore. All mechanical functions are working smoothly and properly. A special rifle that would be nearly impossible to upgrade and worthy of any collection.
