WHITNEY - BURGESS - MORSE LEVER ACTION RIFLE 3rd model serial # 999, cal 45-70 made 1878 to 1882 ,total production less than 3000,sporting rifle estimated 1500 round & octagon barrel 45-70,round barrel 28" long, bore has some pittng not to bad ,works as it should all complete, no cleaning rod in butt, finish turned plum brown,magazine tube has dents ,wood is sound good tight fit to metal no cracks or breaks just usage dings see pics ,buyer pays ship & insurance this is an antique no FFL required can be sent directly to you must be 18 years of age to buy.if you decide to shoot this rifle it should be checked out by a qualified gun smith before fiing
