A very rare 30" octagon barrel Model 1886 in .45-90 Winchester. 85% original factory case color receiver. 90% original factory blue finish barrel and magazine tube. Bore is in excellent condition and the wood is 85%+ throughout. A very fine specimen: All screws are in excellent condition, wood to metal fit is tight throughout, the markings are sharp, and it is free of any significant dings, mars, or wear beyond the usual dulling of the finish where it was carried afield. Year of manufacture is 1892 and it is accompanied by a Cody Museum letter.
