Description:
Serial #3738432, .30-06, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This rifle has a 4-43 dated "RA"-marked, four-groove barrel and retains 85-90% of the original parkerized finish that has plum-brown freckling at the muzzle, some silvering along the high edges, and on the bearing surfaces of the bolt and receiver. The walnut stock and handguard have small handling marks and minor surface blemishes scattered about the otherwise fine original oil finish, and the "FJA" and Ordnance Department crossed cannons are still crisp and clear on the left side of the wrist. An original sheet metal front sight hood is also installed. This is a very nice '03-A3, and is in about fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
