Description:
Serial #41911, .348 Win., 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1955-made rifle that has retained 95-97% of the original blue finish with some silvering present on the exposed portion of the magazine tube, as well as some small handling marks through the blue on the barrel and frame. The walnut forend and buttstock are in fine shape with small handling marks and surface blemishes in the old oil finish. The rifle has the original hooded front sight still in place, a blank fitted to the barrel dovetail, and a Lyman receiver sight installed on the left side of the frame. This is a splendid large game rifle for heavy brush, and is in fine-near excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
