Description:
Serial #60865, .22 LR, 24 inch tapered barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Winchester Model 75 Sporter rifle marked “Sporting" on the magazine plate and featuring a select checkered Walnut stock, detachable magazine and a Lyman 57E aperture receiver sight and was manufactured in 1948. The beautiful target rifle has been professionally restored and retains about 96-98% of a reapplied blue finish on the barrel and receiver with some very light use marks and finish loss around the scope base screw holes on the barrel and frame. The select walnut stock is near excellent with slight flattening on some of the points in the checkering and some scattered light bruises and other minor use marks. It comes with one original Winchester marked 5 round magazine and installed sling swivels. Mechanically it functions properly with a crisp trigger pull. A great looking 75 ready for the plinking range or small game hunting. FFL or C&R
