Description:
Franchi Sporting Model SL in 12 gauge / 20 gauge. This is a two barrel set with 12 gauge 30" barrels and 20 gauge with 28" barrels. The 12 gauge barrels have Factory extended choke tubes of; CYC, IC, IC and Mod. Additionally included are Briley extended tubes of; IC, Mod, Skeet and Skeet. The 12 gauge barrels have 2 3/4" chambers and have a barrel weight of 1.6. The 20 gauge barrels have Factory flush mounted chokes of; IC, Mod and Imp Mod. Additionally there are Briley extended choke tubes of; Skeet, Skeet, IC and IC. A choke tube wrench for 12 gauge is included. No 20 gauge wrench is included. The 20 gauge barrels have 3" chambers. The non tapered rib width on the 12 barrels is 10MM while the 20 gauge is 7MM. The 12 gauge barrels are ported while the 20 gauge are not.
Gun was essentially test fired with no appreciable wear. Gun is tight like a new gun. No marks to the wood. Single selective trigger. Ejectors that are strong and well timed. Franchi original sporting recoil pad. LOP is 14 1/4". Drop at comb - 1 3/8". Drop at heel - 2 1/8". Stock has cast off. The decorative side plates are removable and can be changed with different artwork or engraving. Cased as shown. Case has a small internal crack in the barrel divider at the monoblock area. Shipping is $75. A very special and useful sporting set.
