PENDING SALE.( I do have another one) Im not an exprert on British double rifles, this is my first one, but to the best of my knowledge this gun underlever rifle was made in late 1870s-mid 1880s. Locks are marked H. Adams, barrels are London proofed. The bores are about 50 cal, so I assume its 500 BPE caliber. The gun is in shooter grade condition overall, metal was rebued long time ago. Leather butt plate was fitted to lessen the recoil probably about the same time. The gun has very good bores that show strong rifling. Everything functions properly, there are no cracks in the barrels or frame, wood looks solid. Here's your chance to own a classic British double rifle a third of the price of any double rifle available on the market today. Best part is you would be able to take this gun shooting or hunting without having a heart attack if you drop it or sratch it. I looked far and wide online and couldnt find anything for less than 9k in any shape. No license needed to buy except NJ and NYC residents. Visa/MC add 3%.
