Description:
The Egyptian Army initially contracted a run of 50,000 M1951s with some changes including the replacement of the magazine release with a simpler external coiled metal spring release at the base of the grip, these were designated the Model 951. Following this and the popularity the pistols gained with the Egyptian Army the Helwan clone following the original Beretta design was produced by Maadi with production beginning in the 1970s. 9mm Luger
