About Us: Antique Collector since 1985. I also have a few modern items that will require a FFL or C&R license. No exceptions. Happy collecting and investing in a product that continues to rise as material and labor costs rise. And the labor force becomes less about quality. China and Mexico items just don’t seem to last.

Description:
Sold !!!!!!     US Cavalry Colt.  AP Casey inspected.  Rare.
Casey became ill for a period.  In his absence, there were a few sub-inspectors.  Those too are rare.  I will say that the US Cavalry revolvers, being 150 years old, have probably had some sort of work done to them.  Just a educated guess.  Anything 150 years old has had something done to it to make it usable.
Anything 2 years old made in China or Mexico probably is un-repairable.  That's my experience anyway.
This old Cavalry came out of a 50 year collection.   And though it's probably not a $50k US Cavalry at .  It is a rare Casey Inspected Cavalry.  I do take trades on Colt SAA's that I like.  If the warm fuzzy feeling wears off I enjoy getting something else to research.  I do also take Gold and Silver
but would rather have a 1st gen or early 2nd gen Colt saa.  Also looking for a 1886 Carbine in 40-82.    I've got a lot of ammo for one.  Have a blessed day and
Happy Collecting/ Investing.
And they all lived happily ever after,  The end
