Description:
This is a very nice Marlin model 39 carbine. It has the 20 inch light barrel, 3/4 magazine tube and slim forearm. These carbines were manufactured from 1963 to 1967. This is a first year production rifle. There were a total of 9,695 carbines produced. I would rate the blueing at 98% and the wood at 95%. It has the bullseye in the bottom of the butt stock. I installed an early base for the .22 rimfire rings. The original filler screws will ship with the rifle. It has the original buttplate in excellent condition. It has the JM hammer extension.
