Colt SAA consecutive pair of special feature revolvers!
These beautiful revolvers are 3rd generation SAA’s with 3 ½” barrels, blue/case color frame; fire blue screws; birds head grips with one piece ivory grips; two tone hammer (fire blue on top/back & polished on sides); chambered in .45 lc; and they are absolutely new in their respective boxes.
These are a one owner pair from a private collection.
Approximate cost then (for each): SAA $1600, + 3 ½” barrel $200, + consecutive serial numbers $300, + birds head grip and ivory stocks $900, + two tone hammer $150 = around $3,200.00 X 2 + $6,400 per pair. And that was over 25 years ago. What that equates to in today’s money, I’m not certain but my guess is somewhere well north of $13k! More importantly I doubt if such a pair would be available to order!
