Description:
This Winchester M-70 Cal 30-06 WCF was mfg abt 1956. It comes w/the original Rear White Dot Flip Sight, Front Sight
Hood, Rear Horned Butt Plate. The gun bluing is abt 98% w/no Muzzle Edge Wear. The Trigger Hsg is the same w/the
magazine drop plate having no edgewear but minimal at the hinges. The Buttstock is abt 85-90% with a few very
faint handling marks,the Checkering being excellent, The forearm is abt 80-85 % w/some light what appears to be bench
markings (Check Pics).
The action is very smooth w/the Bolt showing very light usuage (See Pics). I would say this M-70 was not fried a
great deal. It's obviously had excellent maintaince & proper storage, probably a closet Queen.
Overal I would rate this an NRA Very Goodt Winchester M-70. This Winchester should appeal to both the
entry level M-70 Collector and hunter.
