Description Custom A6 Middie Folding Knife, Silver Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber Andre van Heerden Custom Knives The A6 is the most recent top-notch flipper design from Tashi Bharucha, produced by the South African team of Andre Thorburn and Andre van Heerden. This tactical folder is marked A² on the blade and is both extremely ergonomic and utilitarian. The large finger groove and precisely jimped thumb ramp lock this design into your hand and it's comfortable for extended, hard use. The 3" drop point blade is made from Bohler M390 stainless steel with a classy hand rubbed satin finish. The handle is made from gorgeous smooth silver lightning strike carbon fiber over blue anodized titanium liners. The liner lock is very easy to disengage and you will find yourself flipping this knife open over and over again. It's one of the best flippers on the market utilizing a single row ceramic IKBS pivot bearing system and the build quality is simply superb. Andre and Andre have another winner with this A6 design and it was handmade in South Africa.
