This is a 4th variant and was made from 1937 to 1941 and features a #4 target grip. The 199 is a single action revolver and was made for competative Bullseye taget shooting. These were the flagship revovler of H&R and were fit handfit to ensure smoothness and accuracy. The lever on this revolver is worn and won't engage the cylinder star to rotate the cylinder. New levers are available at Gunparts Corp under 999 Sportsmans. I don't feel confident enough to do the job, but you may.
