SALE PENDING ABBY B GA 12/12/22
1st produced at the old Marlin factory about 40 mins from us in between approx 1957 and 1969. It was at the time the lst lever action 22 magnum repeater ever produced. It has a unique very short throw lever and the more desirable higher capacity tube fed magazine. This gun did not actually come from a barn that we know of but clearly has not seen much use, was properly stored and well cared for. Conditon is at a minium 90% but is higher. The lst gen had a rounded receiver at the back end and later changed to this style in approx 1960; date of production is unknows as these unique and desirable rifles were not serialized until 1968.
Variations were offerered in 256 Winchester and 30 cal carbine having a sligthly different model designation.
An aftermarket sling swivel was installed on the butt stock but this could easily be replaced with a little wood filler and touch up, and the Marlin Bullesey often missing is still present.
It has the classic Micro Groove Barrel
We used to get these with some reqularity but now they seem to be in the hands of colledtors and users and it is the lst one we've had in a number of years. Scope is (was) the better of the 22 scopes made at time by Weaver (not the 1/2 jobs that were uselss but this was the better V22 however the scope does not function and is comprimised but does go with the gun)
