Description:
28 inch octagon barrel and full length mag tube. Bright shiny bore with sharp rifling. Original Marlin sights include a blade front and sporting rear. Receiver is engraved in the early Marlin style with a game scene of a buck on one side and a bear on the other. Balance has the large scroll engraving and a buck on top of the bolt. Metal is mostly a plum/brown with good corners and good markings. Shows some wear to the engraving.Deluxe checkered stocks are in very good condition with just minor use. Nice sharp checkering and correct steel shotgun style buttplate.
