Description:
.451 caliber, 39" barrel with the Rifling Patent 611 and so marked on the barrel legend. Pistol grip and checkered half stock with patchbox, horn forend cap, and a trap in the grip cap. Sights consist of Long range Vernier rear and Westey Richards front tunnel sight (globe). Beautiful stylized hammer and lock. In it's original oak partitioned box with bullet mold and label in the lid. The maker's records indicate the rifle was mfg. as a BEST QUALITYH MATCH RIFLE for /G. Bogle in 1886.
