Payment Types Accepted: Description: On Hold Sale Pending. This unusual antique Kentucky mule ear percussion full stock rifle was made by Joseph Medberry of Rochester New York. He made flintlock and percussion rifles from 1818 to 1841. The overall rifle len Is 47 inches with a 31 inch octagon barely with strong rifling in approximately 40 caliber the pill lock is marked Medberry patent. The hammer is depressed to set but is not holding at full or half cock. This appears to be some tlkind of pill type percussion primer. The trigger guard, but plate, ramrod guides, and side plate are brass with a dark patina. The barrel and lock are dark brown with scattered pitting. The dark walnut full stock is in very good condition. The Barel is marked J Medberry, Rochester. This may be the only example of this rare rifle that you will ever encounter.
