***SOLD, shipped*** Beautiful Pre War deluxe grade Remington Model 31B 20 gauge with checkered stocks. This is seemingly a very scarce shotgun indeed, especially in small gauge.
S/N 520092 believed to be made in 1937. About 96- 97% original condition throughout. 28" plain barrel. Full choke. 2 3/4" chamber.
Excellent and smooth mechanical function with a shiny bore, just a trace of wad scuffing that should brush out.
There are many who profess these 31s to be on par, or possibly even better built shotguns than the famed Winchester Model 12. I can attest that this shotgun is extremely well made, robust, and runs like a clock while checking functions. A difficult shotgun to find and in absolutely remarkable condition considering its 85 years of circulation, so expect a very long wait to upgrade on this one!
