On Hold Sale Pending US Harpers Ferry Model 1842 69 caliber muske in very good condition. The full 3 band dark walnut stock is in near excellent condition. the full length 42 inch smooth bore barrel is 69 caliber. Although I have not tried to clean the bore it should clean to good. The lock functions at full and half cock. The nipple is in good condition. All metal parts have a smooth natural coffee brown patina over original bright Finnish. The musket appears original and complete with sling swivels and ramrod. A very nice Harpers Ferry musket. A matching original bayonet and scabbard is also available to purchaser for $125.00 Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
