Description:
This is a Model 42 Winchester built in 1951. It has a 26 inch full choke barrel and a solid rib. At some point after manufactures it was engraved with a field/forest pattern. The engraving is crisp and clean. There are seven thick gold inlays of dogs and birds. The inlays have dimension and are engraved as well. The wood is outstanding with nice graining and feather crotch. She shoots as good as she looks.
