Description:
Belgian made double barrel hammer gun features 29-5/8 inch steel barrels chambered in 12 Gauge and both choked Full. Bright shiny bores that have an ever so slight bulge about an inch back from the muzzle. Barrels retain most all of their original blue. "AUGUSTE FRANCOTTE" & "BREVETT A LIEGE" along with some scroll work are marked on the barrels. Receiver, side plates and hammers exhibit vibrant case colors along with some protective lacquer still present. Top lever still has bright blue while the triggerguard has mostly worn to a gray patina. Action is embellished with fine tight scrollwork engraving. One hammer screw has been replaced but it does look pretty good and is hard to tell. (You will see it now that I told you). The checkered straight grip walnut buttstock and forearm have been refinished and are in excellent condition. LOP to the end of the black rubber buttpad is almost 14-3/4 inches. DAC is 1-1/2. DAH is 2-1/2. Greener crossbolt and top lever is about center. Rebounding hammers. This light weight shotgun is just 6 pounds 11 ounces.
