SOLD AWAITING PAYMENTListing a Winchester model 1886 rifle of mine. 38/56 caliber with a 26" octagon, full magazine , barrel fitted with a folding Beech style front sight, rear sight I believe is not original but who knows on a 127 year old rifle, wood is pretty decent , no cracks or finish added , no blueing added either , some remains on mag tube and a few other places., no one wearing a Chamber Pot got after this old gal. ?? I do know I load and shoot my rifles and this old rifle shoots, cycles, locks up nice and tight. Not much blue remains as this rifle spent most of its life up here in the woods not propped up in a safe some place.to each his own ! They referred to these as a 38/55 on steroids , I've three, one in a 1895 Marlin and in a large frame Colt, so I guess they all thought them worthy of chambering in this caliber. I make my brass outa 45/70 as I'd imagine most do. I'm selling off my rifles so here one is. I need to ship to your C&R or a FFL of your choice. USPS priority mail, insured with tracking number, shipping is free in lower 48, although I shipped one to Anchorage, Ak and it wasn't bad.
