****SOLD**** S&W Model 40 Centennial fitted with a 2 inch pinned barrel, smooth walnut grips with S&W medallions, concealed/shrouded hammer with a grip safety, color case-hardened finished trigger, is nickel finished, and chambered in .38 Special. This Model 40 is in near new/unfired condition, retaining all of its original finishes. There is a small spot of corrosion on the cylinder (see pictures). The bore is as new and the action functions the same. Note: The pin which locks the grip safety forward (by-passing the safety) is still under the grips. Comes with its orignal numbered ot the gun box and some paper-work (the instruction manual is missing).
