WTS Remington 1903-A3 .30-06 Springfield
Remington U.S. Model 1903-A3 with a 1943 Rem 2 groove barrel with sharp rifling.
The overall condition is very good with a few handling dings and some scratches on the wood. The metal has the green type Parkerizing. As far as I can tell all the parts that could carry identification marks are stamped R for Remington. The finish on the rifle was there when I purchased the rifle in the mid 80’s.
The rifle has the front receiver ring area bedded and the end of the barrel has a bedding pad in the wood. I put the bedding in the rifle because when the front action screw was backed off the action moved upward with the rear action screw tight.. I.E. the action was being bent.
