Description:
22 inch barrel marked 30 ARMY with very good bore, fairly bright with strong rifling throughout. Barrel shows thinning original blue toning to a brown-gray patina and some areas of light pitting. Action is similar, toning to a lighter gray-brown patina with scattered light pitting. Plain walnut stocks in pretty good condition showing a small crack ahead of the added sling swivel on the toe line next to a plugged hole and some scattered light dings.There is also an added sling swivel on the barrel band and the saddle ring appears to be a replacement. The left side action has holes drilled and tapped for a Lyman 21 sight, the rear sight is a replacement Model 1892 Krag rifle sight installed backwards and the front is an ivory bead.
