MINT PRE WAR SIMSON & CO. SUHL ASTORA MODEL 16GA. SIDE BY SIDE BOXLOCK BL SHOTGUN. Serial number "22XXX" and all matching with side clips, extactors, double triggers, cheekpiece, wide solid raised rib(checkered), case colored on receiver at 95%, cocking indicator, original basketweave pattern buttplate with 14 1/4" LOP, 28 3/4" barrels(correct) choked Imod and Full. Greener crossbolt fastener, unturned screws and crisp markings. All the metal finish and stock are original to the day it was made. Has a few scratches at muzzle(outside of crown-see photos). Stock and checkering are crisp too with only signs of use to wood being some shallow gouge marks to left buttstock near toe where stored improperly during travel but will lift with some minor TLC. Chambered for 2 3/4" cartridges.
