UNIQUE L.W. POND MDL REVOLVER CAL. 32 RF SER. 6521. WHAT A COOL AND UNIQUE PIECE. THESE GUNS WERE MADE BEFORE THE CIVIL WAR AND THEY GOT INTO A PANTENT DISAGREEMENT WITH SMITH AND WESSON. LATER PRODUCTION MODELS LIKE THIS ONE, BARE A SMITH AND WESSON PATENT ON THE SIDE OF THE BARREL. THE CONDITION OF THIS GUN IS NICE. THE IRON FRAME ON THIS GUN WAS ORIGINALLY MADE IN THE WHITE AND STILL HAS A NICE FINISH. THERE IS SCATTERED PATINA ALL ACROSS THE GUN. THE BORE HAS DEFINED RIFLING WITH PITS THROUGHOUT. THE GUN FUNCTIONS SOMETIMES. THE CYLINDER ROTATES, BUT GETS CAUGHT UP ON ONE OF THE CHAMBERS. THE BARREL IS A BIT LOOSE ON THE ACTION. THIS FIREARM STILL HAS ITS COMMONLY MISSING TAKEDOWN SCREW IN THE BUTT OF THE GRIP. FOR THE COLLECTOR OF ODD OR FOR THE CURIOUS, THIS GUN IS MODESTLY PRICED AT.... $495.
