Description:
Beautiful example of a cased Wagner Berne Parlor Pistol in stunning condition. Circa 1860-1880 featuring Belgian Flobert mechanics that are crisp and totally functional. Features a very artistic presentation of scroll engraving on both sides and the trigger guard underside. The presentation case is a period custom fitted case for the pistol with a hidden compartment in the underside of the top (see photos). The case is constructed of fine mahogany with dove tail corners, dual latches and handle of solid brass. Inside the case are two period tins, two bore brushes, a cleaning rod, and some type of ebony handled pick and a mini broom / brush instrument. The bore appears to be approximately .22 cal. in diameter. The piece is serial numbered 17439. Just a beautiful example of old-world gun making craftsmanship that is in total unmolested condition! This piece qualifies as an antique produced prior to 1898 and may be shipped directly to the purchaser. For payment we will accept personal checks, money orders, certified check or cashiers’ check, all major credit cards. Credit cards are acceptable with a 4% up-charge for processing. Personal checks require 8 business days to clear the bank, all other forms of payment receive same day as received shipment. Shipping and full coverage insurance is $50.
