Stevens Pope 44 1/2, 22 caliber. Half round & octagon barrel. Rifling in the bore is strong, the lands have light pitting. Some light case color on receiver, blueing thin to light brown on barrel. Stock has some dings & no cracks. Cresent but plate. Very nice tang sight. Please look at photos for best description. A Stevens Pope 44 1/2 is a very rare rifle. Condition is good for age.
