This is a rare English 16 gauge box lock extractor gun, made circa 1925, by William Evans, a London based maker of fine sporting guns and rifles...The 28" barrels are choked ic and full. 2 5/8" chambers, with excellent bores...15 1/4" length of pull over solid pad... Drops of 1 1/2 and 2 3/4...Weighs just 6 1/3 pounds...Overall fine condition...This is a lovely hunting gun with an interesting Celtic Cross engraved on the initial plate...Makers case included...Ship to ffl or c&r...This is a used gun. It is guaranteed to be functional and free of major cosmetic issues...At six and a third pounds, this well balanced gun is a joy to carry in the field...The superb fit and finish is what one expects from a high end English maker...
