Description:
Pre-Owned and on consignment with us here at Cole’s San Antonio please find this Belgian Browning A5 in 16 gauge. The shotgun is chambered for 2 ¾” shell and its barrel is 26” standard round configuration. The shotgun exhibits typical wear on the barrel from the normal function of the “long recoil action” of the Browning and its forend wood. The bore is spotless, the overall exterior of the shotgun shows some light wear but is also in excellent condition considering age and use afield. Overall metal condition is easily 90% or better. There is thinning of the blue on the bottom of the receiver and tang from carrying afield, mostly at the sharp edges. The butt stock has not been cut or altered in any way. The stock has several scratches and scuffs LOP is original at 14 ¼”. It still wears the original horn butt-plate with typical degradation from age. The owner has a significant quantity of 16-gauge ammo available for sale as well however it is to be offered to the buyer of the gun first.
