A fabulous 1967 production Browning "Olympian" in the scarce .338 Win. Mag. caliber with desirable "Long Extractor" Fabrique Nationale "Mauser" action.
The 24" barrel is without sights and has a pristine bore as the rifle appears to be unfired, bluing is 100%, the action, floorplate and trigger guard feature game scene vignettes and is "triple signed" by Greco, Dewil and Baerten.
The walnut stock shows beautiful figure and color with intricate carving and checkering, a rosewood fore-end tip and pistol-grip cap ( complete with a gold diamond inlay ) the stock being finished with a length of pull of 13-1/2" by a Browning ventilated recoil pad.
A very close to 100% condition "Olympian" in one of the least produced calibers, a really exceptional hard-to-come-by rifle befitting all the superlatives! With a Browning luggage case. $16,950.00
