Description:
This relic peecussion pirate belt pistol has seen lots of wear and action with a mashed nipple, and a percussion lock where the hammer is pulled back but doesn't hold and has to be pushed forward, like the mainspring is worn or broke? Overall length is about 20" with a round barrel of 13 3/4 ". All metal parts have an aged brown patina, and I don't see any proofs or markings, or makers name. The hardwood stock has had numerous repairs but is now solid, and appears that an added darker brown finish had been appied. Not safe to load or shoot, but for a wall hanger. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
