Description:
An original Manhattan Firearms single shot deringer called HERO and so marked on the brass aged frame. Measuring overall at 6 1/2" long with a 3: long tapered roundbarrel that still screws off with a clean smooth bore,.Mild syrface oxidation on the brass frame near the nipple with clean with steel wool and oil, but not pitted though. Action works good, and the American walnut grips are complete also. Made berween 1868 and 1873, these were favoritely used by gamblers.Caliber black powder, is .34 .When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
