Description:
Colt 1890 44 40. England proofed.American Eagle grips. The revolver is in very fine condition. Believed to be brought back from England from WW2, B29 Navigator after completing 30 missions. Navigator was a Texan that carried a Colt single action on his 30 missions. After surviving those missions I believe he bought this Colt. Colt was purchased from family that still has the Colt SA he carried & flight suit. No provenance comes with this Colt. Colts that went to England were given a darker blue finish, either here or there. This Colt is top shelf, not enhanced or altered. I had a price of $11500 on it at a few small gun shows. Today it's offered at $10500. Reasonable inspection time.336 859-8307
