Here we have a 1974 manufactured Smith & Wesson Model 14-3 chambered in .38 Special. This Model 14 features a 6" barrel, blue finish, adjustable rear sight, 6-shot cylinder, target hammer, target trigger, and factory checkered hardwood grips. The blue finish rates at 98% with the deductions being a slight amount of scattered handling marks and light muzzle wear. The bore of the 6" barrel is bright with sharp rifling and shows no signs of imperfections. The six chambers of the cylinder are equally as excellent. The original factory checkered wood grips are in excellent condition with a handful of minuscule scattered handling marks. The grips fit the gun perfectly with no wiggle or play in them. The action on this Smith & Wesson is perfectly in-time, smooth, and slick. No matter how fast or slow it is operated, or whether it is worked in single or double-action, the cylinder locks up tight in perfect time. All of the controls on this revolver are in perfect working order. This Model 14 would make an outstanding addition to any collection. Included are the original box, paperwork, and cleaning kit.
