SCARCE GAUGE HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON "DIAMOND ARMS" MODEL 1915 SINGLE BARREL SHOTGUN IN ".410-44 CAL." #32XXX, MADE 1916-1930. The side of the receiver on this small frame shotgun is marked "DIAMOND ARMS CO." in a fancy banner which was obviously a trade name used for a large distributor like Sears Roebuck etc. The hard rubber butt plate has the H&R Arms Co. logo etc. These were made to take the usual 410 shot shell, but will also accept a .44-40 round or .44-40 shot shell. 26" barrel with exc. bright bore and brass bead front sight with fine aged blue that is thinning and mixing a bit with brown, aged blue/brown receiver, exposed hammer action works fine with tight lock up, fine stock and forearm show light handling only. Not exactly a glamour gun, but certainly an interesting and rare gauge/caliber "farm/garden" shotgun from the Ford Model T days in rural America!
