Nice early model 70 in 30-06 , 1st year gun , original factory blue is in great shape, rear bridge not tapped, bore is excellent, the original varnish on the stock was flaking badly and it was stripped off and revarnished with out sanding the wood, checkering is original and mostly sharp, barrel has 36 on bottom , has early trigger guard push button release, bolt has factory ser # scribed on it but you can only see about half the #'s but can tell they are correct, hard to find 1st year gun , call or text is best, must send to C&R or FFL, + ship SOLD
